In order to encourage greater participation of female talents in the field of scientific research, National Sun Yat-sen University will be hosting the "Women Scientists Laboratory Visit and Hands-on Experience Camp" on July 5th, 2023. A total of 17 laboratories in the fields of science, engineering, and marine science will be opened for physical visits, providing an opportunity for 150 female high school students from Tainan, Kaohsiung, and Pingtung to personally explore the mysteries of research laboratories in areas such as semiconductor nanodevices, integrated optoelectronics, liquid crystal optoelectronics, optoelectronic modulation, toxic drug screening, communication technology, marine chemistry and biology, fish evolutionary ecology, and underwater vehicles. Among these, the students visited the laboratory of the 6G Communication and Sensing Research Center in the field of communication & liquid crystal photomics technology , where the research team explained the techniques to the participating students.
