       The members of the “RF and Microwave Lab" introduced its development of a non-contact radar sensing system to the visiting students from National Yuanlin Senior High School, Chunghua county . Unlike traditional physiological sensing devices, which are typically contact-based or wearable, this radar system provides a more convenient and comfortable way to detect physiological information such as breathing and heartbeat—signals that are usually difficult to observe in everyday situations.

     To spark students’ interest in the research of the “RF and Microwave Lab,” we not only presented our research fields and achievements, but also demonstrated a simple radar system that was specially set up for this event. Lab members took turns operating the system and explaining its functions, helping the students understand how it works. Finally, we invited the students to volunteer as test subjects, allowing them to see for themselves whether the radar could accurately detect their own breathing.

      During the final Q&A session, we answered students’ research-related questions and also provided guidance on their academic pathways. We encouraged those who are interested in research to pursue related fields in the future.
