      In response to Taiwan’s declining birthrate, we are actively broadening our international recruitment efforts. With Indonesia ranking fourth in global population and the largest in Southeast Asia, it has become a key partner for academic collaboration and student exchange.

      Professor Fan-Shuo Tseng joined a joint overseas recruitment initiative organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering, visiting five leading Indonesian universities—Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, University of Brawijaya, Universitas Islam Malang, Telkom University, and Bandung Institute of Technology.

     The visit aimed not only to strengthen academic ties with these institutions but also to attract outstanding Indonesian students to pursue studies in Taiwan. Moving forward, we will continue to deepen collaboration through joint research, faculty exchange, fostering a sustainable talent pipeline and enhancing Taiwan-Indonesia educational cooperation.
